A vibration-control and acoustic correction project for a compact DI preview theatre with high-power cinema speakers.
The client had selected a speaker system similar to those used in large cinemas, but the room size and construction could not support the low-frequency energy properly. This caused vibration issues inside the preview theatre.
The solution focused on controlling vibration without compromising sound quality. Bass traps, false flooring, speaker isolation, SubDude-type isolation platforms, and low-frequency control measures were used to stabilise the room response.
