• Our Dr.R.Kalaiselvi is a recipient of young scientiest grant award at International congress on Acoustics conference held at Sydney 2010 for excellent contribution in Acoustics from International Commission of Acoustics.
• A member of Acoustical society of India and Acoustical society of America
• Best paper award won for two consecutive years from the Acoustical society of America, indian Chapter.
• Guest faculty for IIT-Madras , IIT-Tirupati, SAP- Anna University, SPA – Vijayawada for the subject of building acoustics.
• Published more than 20 papers in the field of noise mapping and building Acoustics.
• Acoustical design consultancy for setting up of a state of the art of Audiometry room first in India for NIEPMD-Chennai (Central government Educational Institution) for the person with Multiple disabilities.
• Designed Acoustical testing facility for predicting transmission loss for different types of building materials at Anna university, Chennai. This Acoustical testing laboratory is first of this kind in India.
• Written syllabus for Building Acoustics and noise control for various universities.
